Student Performances: Night of Eloquence 2012
The 13th Annual Stand & Deliver Night of Eloquence event took place on May 8, 2012 at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, NJ.
For over a decade, our Stand & Deliver: Communication Tools for Tomorrow’s Leaders program has worked to secure individual, corporate and foundation support to achieve our mission of improving the communication and leadership skills of young adults in our cities. Although we face difficult economic times, we believe it is essential that we continue our efforts to build and develop leaders, particularly among young people in cities like Newark, Paterson, Elizabeth and New Brunswick.
The Stand & Deliver “Night of Eloquence” is the culminating event of our program. As in years past, a select number of program participants will make dynamic and compelling presentations promoting realistic plans for bringing positive change to their community.
Teaching young adults to communicate and lead with passion and integrity prepares them for the future and gives them the tools necessary to succeed in whatever path they choose. We hope you will join us in supporting this very important youth leadership initiative.
